Elections for Konglig Öfverdrifv are now open!

Due to the blackout and the early date of Budget-SM, as Chair of the Election Committee, I have made the decision to run the election for Konglig Öfverdrifv on a by-election timeline.

This means nominations close 4 days prior to the election, and acceptances close 3 days prior.

While this decision isn't explicitly grounded in the governing documents, it is the most practical solution for this specific scenario.

If you've already read the board's election reform proposal, you'll know it aims to prevent situations like this in future years.

• 🖼️ Graphic design: Do you want to interpret the story through the lens of our brainrotted zeitgeist 🎨? Do you want an outlet for your creative energy, even if you are not comfortable with the pen 🖊️, brush 🖌️ or digital tools? Apply as graphics person for the dJulgroup! (The fact is: The less experience, the better)

• 🕸️ Web development: Do you want to create and improve our website, which solvers will use? Apply as web developer for the dJulgruppen!

• 🧰 Infrastructure: Do you know DNS, how to write containerfiles, tweak clusters, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps in general (as a Service)? Apply as infrastructure responsible and help us out when the challenges inevitably explode!

These areas and probably a few other things I can't think of right now are something you can do in the dJulgroup! If you're interested in any of these, or anything else CTF-related, I think you should apply! 😇 No pre-requisites required (except for the infrastructure role)

The 20th of August the summons to Budget-SM were sent out with the information that the deadline for motions was the 6th of September, that is to say, yesterday. The deadline, which is always 16 days before SM, is actually the 8th of September, which is tomorrow.

Hi chapter!

Earlier this spring, the Climate Chapter Meeting took place, where we voted through a new climate policy. It came into effect on June 1, so here is a reminder of what it means ahead of the start of the semester.

Single-use items: We now have reusable tableware in META, which must be used at all events with up to 30 participants.

Stricter food rules: Vegetarian food is the chapter’s priority. However, white meat may be offered as an active choice when registering for an event. Red meat will not be reimbursed at all, with the exception of certain events, such as some involving traditional Swedish food. More information about the food rules, as well as a list of events that are exempt, can be found under §5.1 of the policy. Expenses that violate these rules, such as purchases of red meat, will not be reimbursed through Cashflow!

Fossil-free transport: The section will no longer cover the cost of fossil fuels. Diesel vehicles must be refueled with fossil-free fuel (e.g. HVO100), and for petrol vehicles, the fuel mixture may contain a maximum of 25% fossil fuel.

The semester is coming to an end, and summer break will start soon (or maybe it’s already started for those of you who aren’t presenting during lab week :P).

Please upload all your receipts from the semester by June 12!

This is not a hard deadline, expenses can be submitted after that, but the Treasurer & Vice Treasurer won’t be checking Cashflow as often over the summer, so they’ll be processed more slowly. If you need cash quickly, you can of course ask us for an express “delivery” :D

If you have an invoice that needs to be paid within less than 30 days, please contact the Treasurer or Vice Treasurer to make sure we get it on time.
