whattttt????? Is the Computer Science Chapter getting a new official dance????

For those who missed Budget-SM Day 2 and proposition 7.3 “Computer scientists dance too little”: it’s true. Getting absolutely mogged on the dancefloor by Media (with their Jumpstyle) and other Chapters is not okay, so we’re putting our foot down. We need a chapter dance that outclasses everyone else.

Best of all, YOU get to influence what it will be. That brings us to stage 1 of the “CS Chapters DanceRevolution” project: ✨song selection✨

From all songs submitted, some of them will be chosen based on their connection to CS Chapters culture, originality, choreography potential, and (reasonable) appropriateness. A new form will then be sent out where you can vote for the winner among those songs. After that, we’ll start choreographing to the winning song, more info on that when we get there. The result will be stamped as "the official CS Chapters dance".

All song suggestions are welcome (as long as they’re on Spotify), just please don’t Rick-Roll me 🥲

For those of you in the loop, the time has come to rewrite the climate policy yet again. An important step of ensuring this policy will be good is to discuss it well before SM. As a first step I invite you to a discussion on the sustainability aspects of chapter pubs.

Hi Chapter!

Recently, a new partition called The Blood Group has been started, and now we’re kicking things off with our first pilgrimage! We plan to arrange these about once a month, depending on interest.

On November 13th at 10:00, we’ll be going together to donate blood at Sergels torg. It’s an easy way to do something genuinely important (and there’s great fika). It doesn’t take long—depending on how many we are, so we should be back by lunch.
