During the actual closing period, only 5 people in the chapter will have access to META, so if you NEED to enter, please contact sommaraccess@datasektionen.se. You can enter during the reception weeks, but please refrain from doing so if you haven't contacted storasyskon@datasektionen.se in advance. No events may be held in META during this period.

This is why Groda has created a guide to vegetarian and vegan food - subsitutes, products and how to use them. Dive 25/26 is a project aimed at promoting gender balance in our program by introducing Datasektionen, its members, and opportunities to future university students. This round, we are looking for two specific roles: a Vice Project Lead and a PR Manager and for these positions its an advantage if you know are familiar with the project and have been a member before. Early this fall, we will open recruitment for additional positions on the project team.

Room scheduler at KTH has made a mistake and booked the wrong date for Glass-SM. Therefore the meeting room needs to be changed.

The new meeting room is E1. The meeting will hence take place 2025-05-13 at 17:30 in E1.

Now it is yet again our turn to keep the garbage station behind META where we throw away our glass clean week 18 (28th april-4th may). This doesn't mean we have to keep it squeaky clean but it is our responsiblity to keep the garbage inside of the garbage station and not outside of it. 😊

Remember that one cleaning equals one half ticket, so you have to clean two times in order to get a completely free ticket.

#Tickets for METAspexet 2025: The Sword in the Stone, or ~~six~~ Three Witches in a Witchspex, are now released! Want to see a spex that 130 people have spent nearly a year bringing to life? Then head over to https://metaspexet.se and get your very own tickets to METAspexet 2025.

The performances will take place throughout the weekend of week 21—that is, May 23rd, 24th, and 25th.

For all you students or pensioners, a ticket only costs 180 SEK, and if you’re bringing a non-student or are no longer a student yourself, the price is slightly higher—but still reasonable—at 240 SEK.

Included in this price is a seat at the performance you bought the ticket for, a patch, and memories for life.

For all CS and Media students:

There will be a general Monday cleaning in META on Monday, April 14th. This means that we, the METAdors, are encouraging everyone who can to come and help clean, as there won’t be a chapter club responsible for it that Monday. So, it’s a perfect opportunity for everyone — regardless of involvement in the chapter — to make a difference and earn half a ticket to the cleaning party!

We’re aware that it clashes a bit with the Computer Science section meeting, but cleaning usually only takes about an hour, so you’d only miss the beginning of the meeting. That’s also why it’s a great opportunity for those of you who don’t usually attend section meetings to come and help out — because you’re needed now.
