Here comes a reminder to fill in this year's JML survey! 💕

The purpose of the survey is to increase our understanding of how the Chapter life and organisation is experienced by all our Chapter members, so we encourage you to send in an answer even if you don't have anything specific you want to say!

If you have something, an opinion or maybe a suggestion for improvement, that's amazing, but this survey is also for those of you who read this and think "but I don't have anything specific to say so my answer isn't needed"! We want as many as possible to answer our survey, so if you feel that you can set aside a few minutes to take our survey then that would be both fantastic and heavily appreciated ❤️

All answers are of course anonymous and we thank you for helping us improve the Chapter! Thank you so much! 🤗

There are now updated minutes for SM, with the following changes:

• Duplicate motions should be gone
• Verksamhetsberättelsen för 2023 is included
• All functionaries are now under a common subsection, as all of their reports are in the same attachment
• Proposition angående D-SOLs hållbarhet now properly shows its image
• Presentation och utfrågning av urnvalskandidater is now section 2

Ahead of the Revision-SM this Tuesday at 17:30, you have the opportunity to ask questions regarding motions, propositions, and candidacies. This is an excellent chance to clarify any concerns and understand the issues that will be discussed.

Here's how to do it: Go to the Computer Science Section's Discord server (https://dsekt.se/discord) and click on the "REV-SM" category, select a relevant thread, and ask away!

Please note! In the threads for the candidates, only questions are allowed. Absolutely no discussion. For motions and propositions, feel free to dive in.

Next Saturday, on the 9th of March, will take place the Final for Melodifestivalen 🎤🎵, the music competition that decides who will represent Sweden in Eurovision, so naturally the International Committee 🌍 and the Equality Committee ️️️⚖️ will be hosting a grand watch party in META! 📺🎉

Come watch the final with us at 19h45 and we will provide a ton of free snacks! 🍪🍿 We'll watch the performances, discuss which songs are the best, and select who to crown as our very own META Winner 🥇🏆 (which, let's face it, is a higher distinction than any title the "real" jury could ever hope to award).

See you on Saturday! You'll feel the "Euphoria" 💫 in the room as we await the next "Waterloo" ⚔️ - a song memorable enough to imprint on us like a "Tattoo" ⚓...

Every Saturday from 2 pm to 3 pm we have booked KTH Hallen for the rest of the semester. The idea is that we do some activity/sport for an hour. Everyone is welcome! The primary goal is having fun, not to play super competitively.

This week (Saturday 2nd) we will play Harry Potter (it's a variation on dodgeball) for 1 hour.

I will try to vary the sports in the following weeks. And please come with suggestions for what we can do!!!

The Directorate officially invites you to the motion-writing workshop of the period.

The motion-writing workshop will take place on the 13th of February at 17:30 in V12.

The motion-writing workshop is the best opportunity you have to discuss your motions before the Revisions-SM with the board. A motion that has been discussed at a motion-writing workshop has about a 20% higher probability of not being criticized to pieces by the board at the SM, so it is strongly recommended that you bring yours along.

Fika will be provided!
