As you may have seen, this Tuesday (12/Nov) during QN the International Committee 🌍 will be hosting an International Potluck 🍲 for everyone to enjoy!

Stop by anytime after 17:17 to play some board games 🎲, hang out 💬, and eat a delicious multicultural dinner! 🍽️ For a small entry fee, you'll get to try every dish we'll have available 😋 - this includes starters, main courses, desserts, and light snacks. What a steal! 🤑

We'll have food traditional to places all around the world, from Sweden 🇸🇪 to Asia 🌏 and from Southern Europe 🇪🇺 to the US. 🇺🇸

Attending QN without eating is still free; you can come by and decide for yourself how appetizing the dishes look before paying. No sign-up required, just show up.

This Tuesday (12/Nov), the International Committee 🌍 will hold an International Potluck 🍲 where people from all over the Chapter will cook different dishes of their choice and then serve it for others to try. 🍽️ This is a collaboration with QN, meaning guests will be able to play board games 🎲 while snacking on the food available as long as they pay a small entry fee. 🤑 (Attending QN without eating is still free!)

Our hope is to have a diverse array of recipes available, including traditional Swedish food 🇸🇪 and international dishes 🌐 from all around the world. Show your interest here and we'll get back to you if you're selected to cook! We've booked the Nymble kitchen and will give you a certain budget for ingredients, plus you'll get to try out other people's creations for free during the event itself.

Tickets will be released on November 6 at 20:00 during an epic pub! Tickets will be distributed by lottery among those who sign up within the first 20 minutes; after that, it will be first come, first served. There are two types of tickets available: with bus transportation (4300 SEK) and without bus transportation (3300 SEK). In the registration form, you’ll be able to indicate which of these you prefer, or if you're only interested in one of the options.

Hello lovely chapter! Some of you might remember that there was a LAN together with other Swedish universities last spring. This makes a comeback! Due to a lack of physical places to hold it though it'll be a WAN this time.

Between Friday 17:00 and Sunday morning next week DESC will hold in KTH's participation in Cross-Country LAN (CCLAN) online!

Compete against students from Luleå's, Lund's, Chalmer's and Umeå's universities in games like Counter Strike, Overwatch, Minecraft (arranged by METAcraft), Team Fortress and Tetris.

All of this will happen in both DESC's and CCLAN's Discord servers! Read more about CCLAN on https://cclan.se/.

It's sad we can't meet in person but but fear not, a real LAN is not far away...

Watch out on the slopes! ⛷️ It’s time for the dÅre Ticket Release pub! 👀 Come and join us for an après-ski hangout. 🎉

There will be great food, awesome drinks, cool competitions with amazing prizes, and, of course, an absolutely CRAZY ticket release. This is something you don’t want to miss. See you on the slopes!

dÅre is the chapter's annual ski trip to Åre 🏂 (which, approximately 93.3% of the time, actually goes to Åre). Together, we’ll head up to Åre from January 11th to 16th for SkiStar’s Student Skiweek. It’s an incredibly fun trip with skiing, après-ski, cozy hangouts, parties, and much more!

The ticket release will be released via a Google form on the facebook event page at 8:00 PM on November 6th. If you have an especially good memory, you might remember that there was supposed to be a lecture on the chapters’s history at the end of September. However, it was postponed, and we can finally announce the new time: Monday, November 4th, 17:15, in META!

The lecture is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the chapters’s past and hear some fun stories from the “good old days.”

There will also be free food and drinks (not free) available during the lecture! You can register for the food through this form.

At 12:15, 2024-10-31 A Hope the exams went well-DM will be held in Mötesrummet, META. At the DM, the board will discuss, among other things, various guest memberships, economic accesses and the appointment of dRamaturgen.

Anyone who wants to run for dRamaturg or has opinions is welcome to attend.
