Motivations to the recipients

Emil Wallgren
During his time in the chapter, Emil Wallgren has been among the most devoted, conscientious, and considerate members one could imagine. From day one, Emil has been one of the most significant driving forces behind the development of educational advocacy. Through roles such as Year Representative, President of the Study Board (SNO), and D-UF, he has consistently worked to strengthen the student voice and improve the quality of education.
Much of Emil’s work has had a long-term character, bearing fruit only several years later. He has laid a stable foundation for the educational advocacy work the chapter conducts today, and through his role as Student Safety Representative, he has taken students’ work environment and well-being with the utmost seriousness. With reflection, structure, and a clear determination to do what is right, he has driven change in a manner that has been both sustainable and inclusive.
Beyond his work in educational advocacy, Emil has for several years been instrumental in the Spex, where he has made substantial contributions to the organization’s development and continuity. Particularly noteworthy is his role in the Spex 2025, where he revived the Choir’s operations, and in the Spex 2023, where he brought the role of Head of Actors to heights never seen before or since. Regardless of context, he has demonstrated responsibility, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to the chapter’s best interests.
For his long-standing and foundational work in developing educational advocacy, his commitment to student safety, and his significant contributions to the Spex, Emil Wallgren is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Fredrik Blomqvist
During his time at CS, Fredrik Blomqvist has been one of the most engaged and responsible individuals in the chapter. Time and again, Fredrik has demonstrated a commitment that has extended far beyond his formal assignments - he has consistently worked to develop, structure, and improve the chapter. Early on, Fredrik took on the demanding responsibility of Head of Premises, stepping into the role under challenging circumstances. Despite this, he not only maintained operations but further developed them. As Editor-in-Chief, he relaunched dbuggen and rebuilt the organization from the ground up into something that still stands strong today.
During his time on the Board, first as D-SOL and later as Chairman, he was a driving force behind several major changes, including the purchase of an electric vehicle, the introduction of partitions, and the comprehensive budget reduction. Under his leadership, a large number of propositions were presented that shaped the chapter’s continued development and created a more sustainable organization.
What particularly distinguishes Fredrik is not a single achievement, nor even the consistently high level of responsibility he has undertaken. It is that Fredrik always listens genuinely, takes others’ perspectives seriously, and steps up when someone needs support. Many have been able to rely on him in both small and large matters, and his care has had a significant impact on the chapter’s members.
For his long-standing and extensive commitment, his strong leadership, and his consistent ability to place the chapter first, Fredrik Blomqvist is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Rafael Oliveira
Rafael Oliveira started at CS in 2023 and has since accomplished more than many do over the course of all five years. He has made contributions that will not only have a long-term impact on the chapter, but has also gone far beyond what is expected of an international student.
As Head of Systems, Rafael developed the system Hive, which today manages nearly all access permissions to the chapter’s systems. This has constituted a structural improvement of the chapter’s technical infrastructure and created a stable foundation for future work. As a member of the International Committee, he has for two years actively worked to integrate international students into the chapter’s operations and contributed to the execution of a large number of events each year. His work has been meticulous, efficient, and characterized by a clear long-term perspective.
Within the Study Board, Raf has devoted significant time to the development of the Cybersecurity programme by maintaining dialogue with both students and teachers in order to improve the programme. At the same time, he has always been available to assist chapter members with technical systems and related questions.
For his long-term technical contributions, his commitment to educational quality, and his significant efforts to strengthen the chapter’s international community, Rafael Mealha Fino Serra E Oliveira is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2025
Adam Sjöberg
Adam Sjöberg has, during his time as a member of the chapter, always met others with a warm smile and an even warmer attitude. Time and time again, he has selflessly been a rock whom many have relied upon, and has therefore become a well known and well liked member of the chapter.
That Adam has always put the chapter first is not something that can be disputed. With 10 dFunk mandates under his belt, many of them heavy, and even more internal functionary positions, he has repeatedly given the chapter everything he had regardless of the cost. As D-Dagenansvarig, he was given the challenge of restarting the chapter's career fair after the pandemic, a task he carried out with a brilliance that set the tone for years to come. At the same time, Adam oversaw the purchase of a new chapter car as Mulle Schmeck and, as a member of the board, ensured that routines and traditions were initiated that remain to this day. After one and a half years as a board member, he assumed the role of Chairman. In this role, he implemented changes across the entire chapter and worked hard to, among other things, change banks and secure a sound financial future for the chapter through long-term investments.
For his enormous commitment, uplifting attitude, great sacrifices, and persistent efforts for the chapter, Adam Sjöberg is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Erik Nordlöf
Erik Nordlöf has, during his time within the chapter, been a driving force like few others. He has on many occasions made himself available to assist others with their projects and positions, while simultaneously working toward his own goals, and has done so with good energy and motivation.
Erik has always safeguarded the student culture within the chapter and has constantly strived to improve the study-social activities for the chapter's members. Early on, he took on the post of D-fest to make life more enjoyable for his fellow functionaries, and since then has continuously worked to improve and preserve the fun of being a member of the chapter. During the pandemic, when almost all activities were halted, he arranged digital events to keep student life going, and as Prylmånglare he ensured that the ovve- and badge culture was maintained and enriched. After the pandemic, Erik faced the challenge of serving as D-Dagenansvarig for the first physical career fair, something he handled with brilliance. Toward the end of his career, Erik was elected Board member of Student Issues, where he pushed through an organizational structural change with the aim of improving the chapter's way of working - an effort whose traces will be visible for a long time to come.
For his efforts in continuing the chapter's study-social activities during difficult times, developing the organization, and meaningfully promoting student and song culture within the chapter, Erik Nordlöf is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Lucas Dow
Lucas Dow has, during his time in the chapter, become a role model for many and is someone that you're always satisfied with after having worked together with. He became involved in DKM from the very beginning, and in his second year was elected Infomästare. With a detour where he helped start the first large METAcraft server, he soon concluded an exemplary term as Infomästare and took on the heavy responsibility of Klubbmästare. There, Lucas worked hard to improve the culture within and toward DKM, as well as to revive the pub culture after the pandemic.
During his fourth year in the Reception, Lucas served as Konglig Öfverdrif. There, he set a high bar when he organized and created Den Svarta Filmen 2, but also through his work as reception-responsible where he improved working conditions for the staff without diminishing the experience for the newly admitted students. After organizing so many events, he ultimately built an entirely new ticketing service of his own, which he allowed the chapter to use free of charge, greatly facilitating work for many parts of the chapter.
For his efforts for the chapter as a whole and his incredible engagement in and for the chapter's pub and Reception, Lucas Dow is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2024
David Puustinen
David Puustinen has, during his years in the chapter, engaged in many different parts of the chapter's operations, not least as Chairman and Auditor. His engagement began already during his first year of studies when he was elected to the post of Vice chairman during the pandemic.
Much of the invaluable work that David put in has been invisible to the average member of the chapter, including the financial work and the administrative work he carried out as Chairman in order to ensure the chapter's survival.
Furthermore, David served as sole Auditor during the first half of 2023, where he ensured that the chapter would not end up in the same financial situation as before by taking a more active role in reviewing the financial operations.
During his time in the chapter, David has met other members of the chapter with good humor and respect, while not being afraid to put his foot down when necessary by separating the matter from the person. In addition, David has always carried the drive to do the right thing, even when it has required personal sacrifice.
For his invaluable work in the administration of the chapter and his drive to do the right thing even when it involves sacrifices of his own, David Puustinen is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Ebba Bråtman
Ebba Bråtman has contributed to the chapter in many different ways, but above all within the Reception and JML work. Ebba has also been active in several committees and projects, including Ada, D-Dagen, and project Magenta. During her time in the title of Storquisine, Ebba solved problems and collaborated in an accommodating manner, something she also carried with her into the role of Storasyster the following year. As Storasyster, Ebba made things easier for both the staff and Titel by further developing previous work, with the aim of improving staff well-being. She did this by structuring the staff scheduling so that they could perform at their best when welcoming the nØllan.
Furthermore, Ebba has always worked for a safe and inclusive environment, both in her work as Storasyster and as Chair of the Equality Committee. With an eye for the individual, Ebba has repeatedly taken on responsibilities to ensure that everyone is treated fairly.
Niklas Vatn
Niklas Vatn has, through his broad and long-standing engagement, demonstrated exceptional leadership and an ability to inspire positive change within the chapter. Niklas's journey began early, with a role within NLG, then continued as Board member of Business Relations, and thereafter stepping into the role of Chairman. Niklas held this position during one of the most challenging periods in the chapter's history due to the pandemic. Despite the unexpected and prolonged crisis, Niklas managed to steer the chapter through the uncertainty, ensuring that it not only survived but also remained active and engaged during these difficult times.
In addition to his chairmanship during the pandemic, Niklas took the initiative to revive an inactive sports group by organizing the group and holding routine events as well as promoting them. This led to natural interaction between program students and international students, as well as increased engagement in sports and health within the chapter.
For his efforts in keeping the chapter alive during a difficult period and his lasting work to make the chapter more active, Niklas Vatn is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Amanda Berg
Amanda Berg has, during her time here in the chapter, shown outstanding commitment to ensuring that equality, diversity, and equal treatment are taken seriously. In her role as Chair of the Equality Committee, Amanda achieved this by introducing a JML policy for the chapter and continuously developing it during her subsequent functionary positions. This has as a whole led to a more inclusive and pleasant environment for all our members. Amanda was also responsible for a project that extended beyond chapter boundaries, the purpose of which was to promote women and non-binary individuals across all of KTH and not only within the chapter.
Furthermore, Amanda shaped the position of Board member of Study environment and Equality into what it is today by building structures within the chapter for handling sensitive matters. Through her work, Amanda created a code of conduct that members of the chapter are expected to follow and established a safety council together with the chapter's student safety representative in order to handle such matters. This has contributed a solid foundation for future work on JML issues within the chapter.
For her persistent work and invaluable contributions to creating a more equal and welcoming chapter, Amanda Berg is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2023
Jakob Arvidsson
Jakob Arvidsson has, over the past years, been an invaluable asset to the chapter. Through his selfless commitment and tireless work, he has taken on both the role of Treasurer and Auditor when no one else did, and carried out the work with excellence.
As Treasurer, Jakob laid the foundation for the chapter's financial operations and secured the future of the Treasurer role through the introduction of Vice Treasurer. Even after his time as Treasurer, he has trained several generations of Treasurers and remained available as support for them.
Jakob has always been there and ready to help the chapter when it has needed it most, which he demonstrated, among other things, as Auditor when he quickly familiarized himself with the entirety of the chapter's financial operations in order to carry out the audit.
For his long-standing commitment that has moved the chapter forward and his endless helpfulness, Jakob Arvidsson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
George Dawod Bassilious
George Dawod Bassilious has, through his tireless engagement within the Reception, created a welcoming and inclusive environment for both newly admitted students and reception staff. By increasing the number of daddor per nØlle-group to three, George improved both workload and working conditions for the staff while also ensuring that more computer science students could become part of the Reception. George has gone above and beyond to ensure that new students feel at home and comfortable within the chapter. He has also implemented changes in the JML work during the Reception to ensure that both staff and newly admitted students feel safe.
George's leadership during the pandemic as Klubbmästare has been invaluable and ensured that the operations survived and developed.
In addition to this, George has, throughout all his years in the chapter, met everyone with warmth and maintained an unwavering commitment to the chapter's best interests. He demonstrated this not least through his engagement in Project Rewind, where he helped kickstart the chapter again after a bleak pandemic.
For his drive for improvement and his endless kindness, George Dawod Bassilious is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Herman Karlsson
Herman Karlsson has, quietly, been a driving force in shaping many aspects of the chapter. He has helped design the current Election Committee, where he, among other things, built the new voting system dUrn, been a major contributor to dJulkalendern, and been engaged in METAdorerna throughout his entire time at the chapter. Within METAdorerna, he has been awarded the distinction "Honorary METAdor" for his ongoing work as secretary during meetings as well as being responsible for purchases for the chapter premises.
Herman has also contributed his expertise to operations that do not directly concern him and has had an advisory role for many active members within the chapter, being an invaluable asset to the chapter's operations.
For his tireless helpfulness and invaluable efforts, Herman Karlsson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2022
Axel Elmarsson
Axel Elmarsson has, since his first day in the chapter, contributed with a cheerful expression and welcoming manner. By tirelessly engaging in many activities, he has become a well-known face among the chapter's members.
Axel's efforts for the chapter are multifaceted. He has long been involved in METAdorerna and METAspexet; he is also a multi-year member of the Spring Ball army. His greatest achievements, however, are within his functionary roles, where he began his career as Chapter Historian, a position he helped revive. In this role, he ensured that the chapter's history was made visible to all members: through his thorough work, old patches have been documented and relevant events placed on an accessible timeline. He also took on responsibility for the Alumni System, which enables continuous contact with alumni. In addition to this, he further developed IOR's work and has been highly available to the chapter's members when systems have not functioned as they should. Axel has done much for the chapter without placing himself in the spotlight.
For his systems and his long-standing engagement in the chapter, Axel Elmarsson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Douglas Fischer
Douglas Fischer has, through his tireless work, developed the chapter from his very first day on campus. With higher attendance at both D-rektoratet and chapter meetings than sitting boards, he has worked incredibly hard to improve the chapter.
Douglas has engaged in many parts of the study-social side of the chapter through his work as dFunkt and within committees. With no fewer than 17 dFunk mandates on his CV, among which two years as part of the Election Committee and as Lokalchef stand out, he has always been there for the chapter. He has also received the chapter's trust as both Flag Bearer and Jubileumsmarskalk. In addition to his functionary work, Douglas has started several projects that have contributed to increased community, including Project Rewind, which kickstarted chapter life after a long and bleak pandemic.
For his burning engagement and endless passion for the chapter, Douglas Fischer is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Sara Videfors
Sara Videfors has, through her incredible kindness, compassion, and seemingly endless energy, worked to ensure that the chapter is a place where everyone can thrive and become engaged. Her commitment extends across the entire chapter, from the study-social sphere to educational advocacy.
Within METAspexet, she has always been present and been a strong driving force. She stepped up for METAspexet when no one else did and kept the spex alive despite the pandemic. She has also revived the choir tradition within the chapter. In addition to this, her engagement and kindness over several years have brightened the reception for both staff and newly admitted students.
Sara has also, throughout her entire time, safeguarded her fellow students' education through the Study Committee. During the pandemic, she developed the Study Committee's work as SNO and participated in discussions regarding the education during the pandemic and its future.
For her positive presence and her efforts on behalf of the chapter's students, Sara Videfors is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2021
Jesper Larsson
Jesper Larsson has, with warmth, been a pillar for many of the chapter's members. With an open mind and joyful smile, this candidate has ensured that everyone feels welcome. In discussions, the candidate has demonstrated calmness and patience, creating an environment where everyone can feel that their opinions are taken into consideration and seriously regarded.
During his time in the chapter, Jesper has engaged in many different parts of the organization. Jesper's career within the chapter began as Chair of the Election Committee, where he helped create critical systems that the Election Committee still uses today. In addition to this, Jesper has helped develop systems for the chapter's Reception, software that makes it easier for newly admitted students to keep track of reception activities. Furthermore, Jesper started the project Hello World, a project whose purpose was to establish contact with other similar associations. Even though the global situation slowed the project's impact, Jesper has ensured that the project's vision will resume when circumstances allow.
For his achievements and constant presence within the chapter, Jesper Larsson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Gábor Nagy
Gábor Nagy has, with great patience and wisdom, helped many computer science students in chapter life and made many feel more comfortable through humor and good spirits, even in unfamiliar situations. Gábor has also devoted much of his time to ensuring that the chapter is as warm and welcoming as possible through his engagement in, among other things, the Reception and METAspexet.
Gábor has also worked for the chapter through various positions of responsibility, including the role of Auditor as well as engagement within the board. Gábor has also worked tirelessly with the chapter's systems to give our older systems the care they need and developed new systems that make things easier for our members. This engagement continued with the position of D-Sys, where Gábor created internal posts within the informational organ, which established better routines for the maintenance of our systems and provided opportunities for restructuring systems that had experienced issues.
For his tireless engagement and love for the chapter, Gábor Nagy is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2020
Cristian Osorio Bretti
Cristian Osorio Bretti has, during his time in the Computer Science Chapter, created a joyful, safe, and inclusive climate. Cristian has been an active member of the chapter, among other things organizing sittningar and pubs with SpexM, serving as Storebror, and as Chair of the Study Committee. As Storebror in 2018, Cristian worked for the well-being of the reception staff, and much was done to reduce stress and increase cohesion.
However, it is not only in his role as a Storasyskon that Cristian has distinguished himself, but also through his long-term work in educational advocacy. During his year as Chair of the Study Committee, he structured the committee's work by introducing longer working meetings and lunch meetings for each year 1–3, where feedback and opinions about the education were presented. Cristian has also contributed great engagement and, above all, represented the students' voice when EECS released its report for the Education Portfolio 2025. Thanks to his influence, the Computer Science program retained many specialization courses that otherwise would have been replaced. He also participated in the recruitment process when a new program director for our program was to be appointed.
For his continuous work to improve our chapter and education, Cristian Osorio Bretti is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2019
Shapour Jahanshahi
Shapour Jahanshahi has, during his years in the chapter, brightened the lives of many computer science students with his seemingly endless joy and kindness. That computer science is gray has been known for many years, but if everyone were like Shapour, such a reputation would have struggled to take hold from the very beginning. As Datas Art Director, Shapour began his chapter career with a roaring start and then moved on to the reception, where through speeches and humor he drove the schlemm out of nØllan — no fewer than four times. During his final round in the reception, he stepped into the spotlight and did an exemplary job despite all the responsibility that comes with being Konglig Överdriv. When Konglig Datasektionen turned thirty-five, Shapour served as Jubileumsmarskalk and organized an entire week packed with events in collaboration with the chapter's committees, culminating in the largest birthday celebration in living memory.
For his thorough and long-standing engagement in the chapter, Shapour Jahanshahi is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2018
Jonas Dahl
Jonas Dahl has been an incredibly valuable, appreciated, and dedicated member during his years in the Computer Science Chapter. He has spread joy and offered his help, regardless of the situation. Jonas has been very active in several parts of the chapter, including in the reception over multiple years, and has had a fantastic year as Storasyskon. However, it is not only as an elected representative that he has devoted his strength and energy to the chapter. He has, among other things, decorated the chapter premises and organized sittningar in SpexM, but above all he has poured his soul into the chapter's systems. Jonas has developed some of the Computer Science Chapter's most used systems and continues to maintain them. The chapter's work has truly been facilitated by his outstanding efforts.
For his constantly cheerful and uplifting attitude, helpfulness, and fantastic work, Jonas Dahl is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Alexander Viklund
Alexander Viklund has, over the years, engaged in almost the entire chapter. He began his outstanding work already in his first year when he was elected Prylmånglare and introduced the wonderful tradition of the Prylmånglare vest. In his second year, Alexander took on the responsibility as Treasurer for the chapter and performed admirable work there as well, and has since continued to develop the chapter's financial work. He has done so by serving as financial manager for, among other things, METAspexet, developing the foundation for CashFlow 2.0, and revising the chapter's financial governing documents.
Directly after his work as Treasurer, Alexander was elected Chairman. During his mandate periods in D-directorate, he took responsibility for most of the chapter's policies, developed a system for the operational plan, and carried out the majority of the work on our crisis plan. In addition to all this, he has also served as a member of the Student Union Council, Project leader for dÅre, Flag Bearer, and hopefully even more in the time to come.
For his extensive and reliable engagement and his work to improve the chapter, Alexander Viklund is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2017
Jesper Bränn
Jesper Bränn has, through his engagement for the chapter, created an environment where others can become engaged, which has been most evident through how he has developed the chapter's system group. Jesper's work has breathed new life into the group and rejuvenated its members by making it a much more open and welcoming group where everyone can work on projects and have the opportunity to explore system development.
During his 1.5 years as leader of the system group, Jesper began the work on the chapter's new website and personally ensured that large parts of the work were carried out. During his time as communicator, he participated in restructuring the committee by dividing the post into two new positions.
Jesper has also been active in other parts of the chapter, including in the reception as Dadda and Samdoquise, as well as writing several articles for dbuggen.
For his thorough and indispensable engagement for the chapter, Jesper Bränn is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Mattias Danielsson
Mattias Danielsson has, during his time in the Computer Science Chapter, contributed to cohesion, laughter, and keeping the student spirit alive. He has done much for the chapter and has held several functionary positions, all of which he has performed well.
One of Mattias's first engagements in the chapter was the position of Vice Chair. Thereafter, the member has served as Vice Flag Bearer and Auditor, a role that he has helped renew and set a precedent for. Mattias has also succeeded in creating both antics and new traditions within the chapter, such as the D-wreck party, smörgåstårta at SM, and bringing laughter through copious amounts of elevator music. When he is involved, one knows that the task will be carried out with enthusiasm and laughter.
Most recently, as Project leader for the unique Wedding project, the member accomplished a unique wedding ceremony and a honeymoon trip to Belgium.
For his multifaceted engagement for the chapter and his persistent efforts to spread laughter and good spirits within the chapter, Mattias Danielsson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Shayan Effati
Shayan Effati has had a long and substantial engagement in the chapter. During his time as Archdemon, he shaped what was then a very new position into becoming part of the chapter's ongoing operations today. Shayan has also continued his engagement by breathing new life into Redaqtionen by introducing new media formats and continuously publishing issues of dbuggen. He has also served in DKM and held the role of Konglig Överdrifv in the reception.
During his time in the chapter, the member has consistently engaged himself and worked hard with joy, while maintaining firm control over his responsibilities. He has constantly done more than can be expected of his role. Few have done as much for the Computer Science Chapter as Shayan.
For his developing and driving work for the chapter, Shayan Effati is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2016
Lovisa Runhem
This member began her engagement in the chapter already during her first term by organizing Ettans Fest. Since then, she has continuously engaged herself in the chapter.
During her first two years in the chapter, she served as Chair of the Election Committee while also serving on the THS Election Committee. She used her central experience to fundamentally rework the chapter's Election Committee for the better.
After that, she engaged herself in the reception as Dadda and served in the Student Union Council for the chapter. She has gone wholeheartedly into everything she has done, but the most important work she has done for the chapter was serving as Chairwoman. During her time, many much-needed updates were made to governing documents, the board's organization, and routines for documentation, transparency, and handover, among many other things. The chapter's contact with CSC was also significantly improved. These are only some of the initiatives she drove, all while consistently showing a genuine interest in everyone's well-being, both engaged members and regular members alike.
For her passionate and wholehearted engagement for the chapter, Lovisa Runhem is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Andreas Linn
This member has, since he began in the chapter, worked persistently with both visible and invisible assignments within the chapter. Among other things, he has served as Qulturattaché, where he revitalized Qulturnämnden and developed it from being a small committee with small game nights into a large committee with well-marketed new activities and events that opened chapter life to new members. He has been involved in the Information Organ, where he has led and worked on several projects such as META-TV, the dJulkalendern, and the website.
This member is a person who always welcomes anyone who wants to become engaged or learn more about what it means to be a member of the Computer Science Chapter. He also represents the chapter positively outward toward other chapters and interested parties.
For his indispensable work for the chapter and his efforts to ensure that everyone feels welcome, Andreas Linn is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2015
Jesper Bratt
Jesper Bratt has, during his years in the chapter, contributed to and participated in large parts of the activities within the Computer Science Chapter. He has done so with joy, energy, and dedication to the chapter's members. Jesper's presence as, among other things, Klubbmästare and Prylis has been noted, as well as his recurring engagement in the reception, where he selflessly and tirelessly has continuously worked for an environment in which both new and older members can truly thrive. Jesper shares his energy with those around him like few others, and his exceptionally enthusiastic personality has persistently stood out within the chapter. Jesper currently serves as substitute member of the Student Union Council and holds the honorary assignment as the chapter's Flag Bearer.
For his continuous and uplifting engagement, Jesper Bratt is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Niklas Bäckström
Niklas Bäckström has, during his time in the Computer Science Chapter, taken the initiative to introduce the position of Ljud- och Ljusansvarig. After two years in the role, he has, through his engagement, time, and knowledge, ensured that META has a high-quality sound and lighting system. His work behind the scenes has often gone unnoticed, but the result of his engagement is something we have all had the pleasure of benefiting from. The development of the sound and lighting system has facilitated the daily operations of other committees and made it possible for our members to explore their interests in sound and lighting. Niklas has taken on assignments that no one else did and carried them out exceptionally well. Today, it is easy to take these efforts for granted, but without Niklas's ability to define the area of responsibility and spark interest in others, we would not have the same opportunities for sound and lighting in our daily operations as we do today.
For his invisible work and outstanding efforts, Niklas Bäckström is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Peter Boström
Peter Boström has long done much for the Computer Science Chapter. He has taken on both visible and invisible responsibilities. Among the visible assignments are his time as Qulturattaché, during which he exceptionally increased interest and engagement in the committee. He has also served on the board as Board member of Social Activities and Relations, been a substitute member of the Student Union Council, and engaged in the reception, among other things as Samdoquise.
However, perhaps most remarkable is the part of his engagement that has not been visible. For many years, through his significant engagement within IOR, he has maintained a more fundamental operation within the Computer Science Chapter that must be carried out for us to have a functioning association. Above all, he has long handled the administration of the chapter's mail aliases, even when he did not truly have the time. This relatively thankless assignment and other tasks he has performed go unnoticed when handled well, which Peter undeniably has done. He has also always been a reliable resource and source of knowledge for other members and stepped up whenever someone has asked for help.
For his indispensable work for the chapter and his great engagement, Peter Boström is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Petter Djupfeldt
Petter Djupfeldt has a long and persistent engagement within the Computer Science Chapter behind him. During the year Petter served as Chairman of the chapter, the functionary dialogues were established, which improved cooperation between the chapter's functionaries and its board. Working in the board can involve a wide range of tasks, and during 2013 Petter and the board handled, among other things, major JML issues that concerned the chapter. After his time as Chair, Petter has not let go of his engagement in the chapter but still attends SM and DM, posing informed and well-directed questions to the board.
Before serving as Chair, Petter was also a substitute member of the Student Union Council, Board member of Study Environment, spexmästare, and during his time as Chairman also Flag Bearer for the chapter. In addition to his elected positions, Petter has also been engaged in the reception as Dadda four times.
For this persistent engagement, Petter Djupfeldt is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2014
Marie Alexander
Marie Alexander has, since she arrived, constantly been at the forefront as a friendly face who always spreads positive energy around her. She is a person who has left a significant mark on the chapter, not only through her functonary mandates, but also simply by being involved in a large part of what the chapter has done in recent years.
Already during her first year in the Computer Science Chapter, she entered the board, where she served as Vice chairwoman. This, however, proved to be only the beginning, and since then she has served in the Student Union Council for two mandate periods and been Vice Standard Bearer. One of her greatest contributions to our chapter came during the past year, when, as the chapter's first Art Director, she established IOR's graphic group Tag Monkeys within the chapter.
For her many contributions to our chapter and for spreading a positive atmosphere, Marie “Hime” Alexander is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Emma Angermund
Emma Angermund began at our fine chapter in 2008 and was active early on. She started her path through the chapter in the reception in 2009 as Dadda. The following year she became Little Sister in Titel, which was crowned by becoming Reception Responsible Big Sister in 2011. Not only that, Emma has also served as a member of the Student Union Council, been active in D-Dagen, served as Vice Standard Bearer, been part of StuDs management group, and not least served as a board member in the D-directorate. Her tireless engagement in the chapter has shown itself time and time again, and she was even elected honorary member of the dÅre staff for her help at the pre- and after-ski parties despite not participating in the trip itself. What tops Emma's drive and willingness to help is her cheerful presence and playful attitude. She does not shy away from difficult questions, but above all she does everything to create a better atmosphere around her, even if it requires dyeing her hair to achieve it. Having graduated does not prevent her from returning to the chapter, albeit now as a company representative at various events.
For her drive, engagement, and willingness to make the Computer Science Chapter a better place for all its members, the D-directorate chooses to award Emma Angermund the chapter's finest mark of merit: the Honorary Delta.
Robert Welin Berger
Robert Welin-Berger was, even before he was elected responsible for the chapter premises, perhaps the most active member of METAdorerna. When he was then elected Royal Chief of Halls, he entered the role with great drive and engagement. He takes responsibility for ensuring that everything in META functions as it should in daily life and performs an enormous amount of work in the background that few know about and even fewer understand. It has long been clear that Robert carries out his assignment far beyond what is expected of a Cief of Halls. He is the one who arrives when others leave, and therefore the D-directorate has decided to award Robert Welin-Berger the Honorary Delta.
Frida Jansson
Frida Jansson is a cheerful, pleasant, and open person with great engagement. She has, from the very beginning, made significant contributions to our chapter.
Her engagement began already in 2010 within the reception as Dadda. After that, it was the board and the role of Secretary that attracted her. Thereafter, she quickly took on the next position of trust within educational advocacy as PAS. When the mandate period changed, she served only half a year but did not settle for that and chose to continue for another year.
Frida belongs to a small group of people who have served on the board no fewer than two mandate periods. After one year on the board, it was believed that her engagement would decrease and all focus would be placed on her studies, but this was not the case. When the chapter was in great need of a Treasurer, Frida stepped in and saved the situation with yet another year on the board.
Frida Jansson has, since the beginning, been someone to count on, a person who always steps up when needed. For her very great engagement for our chapter, Frida Jansson is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2013
Alexander Solsmed
His burning engagement and high level of ambition were already evident during the reception in 2009, when he decided to build a horse-drawn chariot during the LQ construction. His engagement within the chapter began in 2010 when he was elected to the board as Board member of Educational Affairs.
Educational matters, or perhaps simply a taste for free fika, were something he continued to engage in when he took on the position of Programansvarig student in the summer of 2010. As PAS, he further demonstrated his incredible commitment by forging stronger ties with those responsible for education at CSC and driving through many important issues concerning the D program.
When he had almost finished carrying the banner as Vice Standard Bearer, more precisely during the Valborg pub crawl in 2011, and perhaps under the influence of certain other refreshments, his next project began to take shape. By joining forces with the Media chapter, it became clear that the Computer Science Chapter would participate in its first spex since 2005. Through this collaboration, he became one of the true pioneers in establishing contact with our sister chapter.
For his incredible openness and engagement, which laid the foundation for our chapter's future relationship with Media as well as CSC, Alexander Solsmed is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Andreas Tarandi
Already at the young chapter age of barely one year, he took on his first position of trust as Royal Chief of Halls and leader of the honorable group ESCapo. It may have seemed that premises and study environment were his only passions, as he also joined the D-directorate as Board member of Study Environment - but that was not the case. Beyond premises, system development was always close to his heart, and he has made significant contributions to the chapter's data systems.
Yet it seemed there was still room for more engagement in his heart. Fearlessly, he took on the mantle of two years as Ekonomerist in the Reception, and ultimately the role of Chairman of our proud chapter.
For his contributions to our chapter, Andreas Tarandi is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Johan Stjernberg
With his positive attitude and generally enthusiastic demeanor, he took the chapter by storm in 2008. His engagement in the chapter began, like many others, as Dadda in the reception but it did not end there. During his years in the Computer Science Chapter, he has served as Chair of the Study Committee and in the Student Union Council as both member and substitute. He has worked hard to promote the chapter's and our members' interests toward both THS and CSC. He was also part of Team CSC and did an incredible job there, and is partly responsible for the fact that we today have such a fantastic chapter premises. But it has always been the reception that he has been most passionate about. As Dadda, Half Brother, and finally Big Brother in 2012, he helped make the receptions he participated in some of the best ever.
For his contributions and tireless engagement for the chapter, Johan Stjernberg is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Max Nordlund
Max Nordlund has, since his arrival, always worked to make the chapter a better place for everyone. With shining idealism and a deep sense of justice, he has always spoken and worked for all members' well-being, fairness, and community.
Within many of the chapter's committees and bodies, he has fought one of the chapter's worst monsters: our financial governance and bookkeeping. With good results and the chapter's long-term best interests in mind, he has laid new foundation stones for future generations of computer science students to build upon.
In light of his heroic financial work and his willingness to always take on one more task, Max Nordlund is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Michael Hjortholt
He began his crusade through the chapter by immediately engaging in the Reception, where he took on lost newcomers and helped them become proud members of the chapter. Something must have happened, however, as in the following year he chose to turn away from the light. He advanced quickly within the celestial spheres and soon became leader of the Reception's dark side.
Yet he could not entirely hide his love for the light. His insatiable appetite for adventure and boundless love for the chapter led him to found one of our most beloved traditions: the annual Åre trip, later known as dÅre, something he has worked on and participated in several times.
As thanks for everything he has done for the chapter, and for many snow-filled days for its members, Michael Hjortholt is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Victor Koronen
Victor Koronen has, since he arrived at the Computer Science Chapter, engaged in many of its activities. With determination and consistently good spirits, he has spread much joy around him. He has been initiative taking, hardworking, and unafraid to throw himself into battle with some of the chapter's most thankless problems.
He has successfully and with brilliance climbed the chapter's steep bookkeeping mountain. He has tirelessly and skillfully brought order to the chapter's many web systems and participated warmly in several of the chapter's receptions.
In light of his selfless engagement and many quiet heroic deeds in the name of the chapter, Victor Koronen is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2012
Charlie Lindviken
Charlie Lindviken immediately in 2008 began engaging in the chapter and its pub committee, DKM. After being part of DKM for two years, he became Pub Master in 2010. This was not enough for him. As Dadda in the reception in 2009, Little Brother in 2010, and Drifvare in 2011, he did a phenomenal job. He is always full of energy, takes care of those he works with, and always steps up when asked. During the move to META in the spring, he took on a large part of the work involved in the relocation and built the new bar almost entirely on his own.
After three years in DKM, three receptions, and one year as Standard Bearer, one might have thought he would grow tired of dedicating time to the chapter - but not so. Instead, he took on the roles of both project leader for the Spring Ball 2012 and as Jubileumsmarskalk. Having a person like him in the chapter, who constantly takes on both new responsibility and new roles, is invaluable to the chapter and deserves recognition.
Therefore, Charlie Lindviken is hereby awarded Konglig Datasektionens finest distinction, the Honorary Delta.
Andreas Falk
Andreas Falk began in 2009 at the proudest of chapters at Teknis, Konglig Datasektionen. Already in the spring of 2010, he took on the role of Leader of the Business Committee, where he performed excellent work. Thereafter, he moved on to greater heights as Chairman in 2011 for the proudest of chapters at Teknis, Konglig Datasektionen. At the same time, he applied again for the role of Leador of the Business Committee, but as it was considered too much work to carry both heavy positions simultaneously, he was not elected.
However, in October, shortly after his second D-Dagen, he was officially elected once again, as he had in practice been Leader of the Business Committee since the beginning of the year. During the relocation with our sister chapter, the Media Chapter, he worked hard together with the premises group and both boards to ensure the move went well. As a highly driven individual, he has taken on a great deal. During 2011, as both Chairman and Leader of the Business Committee, he devoted virtually all his time to the chapter.
There is no doubt that during his time he has truly worked for the chapter's best interests. In light of the above, Andreas Falk is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2011
Jonas Sundberg
Jonas Sundberg has, since his arrival at KTH, not been afraid to engage in the chapter and its utility committees. He has a long-standing participation in ESCapo behind him and was himself Royal Chief of Halls during 07/08. During 2007, he also served as Doquis in the reception.
In 2010, he took on the role of Auditor and carried it out with distinction. His thorough knowledge of statutes and association practice has been a support and guiding principle for the board. In addition to the Auditor role, he has simultaneously served as Chair of the Election Committee and substitute member of the Student Union Council.
In light of this, and his ability to with constant engagement and dedicated competence take on tasks beyond the chapter's most prestigious assignments, Jonas Sundberg is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Egil Antonsen
Egil Antonsen began his long path of chapter engagement as Dadda during the reception in 2007. The joyful atmosphere during the Reception must have left him wanting more, as during the academic year 2008/2009 he was part of DKM, and since then this Småland native has not been the same.
Whether his Småland origin has anything to do with him serving both as Economically Responsible during the Reception in 2008 and Treasurer in 2009 is hard to say, but what is certain is that he has carried some of the chapter's heaviest and most thankless roles. In addition, during his time as Chairman in 2010, he ensured that the not-so-small extra effort was made to begin lifting the chapter's legal standing from the dark swamp it had been buried in for over a decade to a respectable level that actually gives boards a chance at discharge from liability.
Oh, and during the last academic year he has also been Standard Bearer and served in the Student Union Council.
As thanks for his strong work, Egil Antonsen is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Martin Frost
He began his engagement in the chapter through the Reception in 2006. The year after, he became Prylmånglare in the chapter and continued to be active in the Reception for two additional years. Ahead of the Reception in 2008, Frost helped develop the tool STÖn, which is today so essential for the Reception. He has since continued to be highly involved in the chapter's web environment and has assisted with all of the chapter's currently active web projects. Recently, he has also developed a system intended to replace the current debt management system.
During the years 2009–2011, he also served as Chapter Historian.
As thanks for his contributions to the chapter and for always stepping up when web projects are needed, Martin Frost is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Pärham Fazelzadeh Hashemi
At KTH, one can study day and night if one so wishes, but there is much more to do here than that. If anyone doubts this, one can always ask Pärham Fazelzadeh Hashemi. During the years that have passed since his first tentative steps at KTH in 2006, he has managed to move both the chapter and the education several steps forward, among other things through his engagement on the board, where he has served both as Vice Chair and Board member of Social Issues and Relations. He did not settle for having influence over the chapter and CSC but has also spent many hours in the Student Union Council, ensuring that not too many foolish decisions were made. When administrative tasks could rest and the chapter needed help elsewhere, Pärham has been there as well. He has seen to everything from carpentry in ESCapen to serving as toastmaster at D-Dagen gasques.
In addition to the above-mentioned engagement, Pärham has spent many summer days with facial hair of the finest character, having, after one summer as accompanying Dadda, taken on the role of drifvare for three years: first as drifvarkött, then as Konglig Indrif, and last but not least as Konglig Öfverdrif in 2010.
Ever since he thanked the reception of 2006 with a resounding Daddetack, Pärham has ensured that one never needs to worry about having a dull moment in his presence at KTH. For all of the above and more, Pärham Fazelzadeh Hashemi, now a few cakes and fire alarms wiser than when he first arrived at KTH, is awarded Konglig Datasektionens Honorary Delta.
Tobias Svensson
Tobias Svensson is very cheerful and forward, and with him present there are never any problems, only challenges. He began his engagement within the Business Committee and in 2008 took on the role of Leador of the Business Committee. During his time in that role, he organized one of the best D-Dagen to date. Thereafter, he moved on to Vice Chair in 2009, and that same year he also served as Drifvare in the Reception. In 2010, he served as project leader for STUDS. Beyond the years he has held elected positions of trust, he has continued his engagement within the chapter's many groups and supported those holding elected roles, such as dÅre and the Buesiness Committee.
For these reasons, the D-directorate has decided to award Tobias Svensson the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2010
Mikael Gerdin
For his engagement and genuine contributions within the Reception, the D-directoate, and as Program Responsible Student, Mikael Gerdin is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Patrik Stenmark
For his thorough engagement for the chapter's best interests and his many contributions to the chapter; among these contributions can be counted Royal Chief of Halls, Pub Master, Mother in the Reception, as well as his involvement in the Jubilee and the creation of STÖn, Patrik Stenmark is hereby awarded the Honorary Delta.
Joel Westberg
Joel Westberg has been a member of Konglig Datasektionen since 2005 and has, during his years in the chapter, done just about everything and more. In 2007, he engaged in the D-directoare as Board member of Educational Affairs and has since also served as one of the chapter's members of the Student Union Council. In 2008, as editor-in-chief, he published the first new issue of dBuggen in four years; that same year, he also served in a reception title as Direktifdrifv. His time as a chapter-active member culminated in 2009 when he took on the role of Chairman for the finest of chapters, a position in which he performed extraordinarily well.
He has been a source of inspiration and drive and has, through his meticulousness, ensured that no part of the chapter was neglected, even if he perhaps did not make friends with everyone along the way. Without this person, the chapter would not be what it is today.
In light of this, Joel Westberg is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Pontus Walter
During the years Pontus Walter has been a member of Konglig Datasektionen, he has been engaged in, among other things, the D-directorate, the Reception, and the Student Union Council. All the tasks he has taken on, he has handled exemplarily and wholeheartedly.
As thanks for his contributions and assistance, Pontus Walter is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Per Almquist
Ask not what the chapter can do for you, but what you can do for the chapter - words one might imagine this person has heard at some point. One of the first major roles Per Almquist took on was PR-Chef, where he, among other things, ensured that D-Dagen 2007 became an event to remember. His engagement with industry relations did not end there, as he has consistently been present behind the scenes since stepping down from the role.
He has also ensured that the Computer Science education at KTH has developed for the better through his work both as Board member of Educational Affairs on the board and as Chair of the Study Committee. In addition to this, he has, among other things, helped organize a spectacular 25-year anniversary, contributed to the chapter's alumni operations, and since the turn of the year 2009/2010 represented the chapter as Standard Bearer.
With this motivation, Per Almquist is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2009
Simon Habtemikael
Simon Habtemikael has long been one of the chapter's most well-known faces. After a cautious start as Dadda in the Reception, Simon soon threw himself headfirst into chapter engagement, and that same autumn both joined DKM and took on the role of Student Safety Representative. After this, his chapter career truly took off, and during the following year Simon carried out a reception as Half Brother and also managed the finances as Treasurer, before the year after taking the full step and assuming the mantle of Chairman.
All this notwithstanding, it may perhaps not primarily be for his engagement that Simon will be remembered in the chapter. Many will remember Simon as the ever-cheerful, pleasant, and persistently joking guy whom everyone seems to know. Simon is not only a friend of the chapter, but the chapter's friend. Dor this he is well deserving of an Honorary Delta.
Per-Anders Legeryd
Per-Anders Legeryd has shown that it is entirely possible to be engaged, active, and appreciated in Konglig Datasektionen without wearing an overall or being overtly studentikos. Through his numerous assignments and positions, including representative on CSC's board, Program Responsible Student, and Secretary, Per-Anders has helped change both our education and our chapter. Per-Anders has long been our natural link to the school, and perhaps that is why he always succeeds in conveying our will there, and to the right person at that. As thanks for all he has done and accomplished, the D-directorate hereby awards Per-Anders the finest of the chapter's marks of merit.
Elin Rydberg
Elin Rydberg has, during her relatively few years at Teknis, managed to accomplish a great deal. After first engaging in DKM and DataTjej, Elin was lured into the D-directoare as Secretary. After experiencing how enjoyable it could be to write something, she took on the task of writing something fun, and attempted to revive the dormant dbuggen-redaqtion in the role of Editor-in-Chief. Even though Elin ultimately had to concede defeat to dbuggen, she has entertained the chapter in other ways, including as Drifvare, and during the past autumn as Konglig Indrif.
Positions aside, much of Elin's engagement and work for the chapter's best has taken place behind the scenes. With a constantly watchful eye on the chapter and with its best interests at heart, Elin is never afraid to share her opinions with those concerned. With this image of Elin as background, we in the D-directorate consider her well deserving of an Honorary Delta.
Simon Stenström
Simon Stenströms engagement in the chapter began already during his very first term at KTH. After a successful Daddetack, he was quickly elected into DKM, where he over the years came to serve as both Bar Master and Vice Pub Master. After a year as Drifvare in the reception, Simon the following year abandoned the whip for security blankets and baby bottles when he served as Little Brother, and during the past year he also carried out a reception as Big Brother.
Simon's engagement extends beyond the positions he has held. Always with the chapter's best interests in mind, he consistently voices his opinions at the chapter meeting and ensures that all new students are well received year after year. For these outstanding contributions, Simon is hereby awarded an Honorary Delta.
Roger Ström
Roger Ström has accomplished much during his time in the Computer Science Chapter. His chapter engagement began at a young age when he joined DKM, where he later served as Treasurer. Despite his youth, he also took on the task of cultivating a magnificent mustache as Drifvare, something he ultimately did a full four times when he last autumn carried out the Reception as Konglig Öfverdrif. Roger has also taken on several lower-profile roles, such as preserving the chapter's history as Chapter Historian, reviewing the chapter as Auditor, carrying the hen proudly as Vice Standard Bearer, and safeguarding the study environment as a Board member in the D-directorate.
With Roger's persistent and long-standing engagement as background, we in D-rektoratet consider that one can by a wide margin say that he has most meritoriously worked for the chapter's well-being, and is thus well deserving of an Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2008
Mikael Auno
Mikael Mikael is a true rock. When you need help with something, you can be sure that he will fix it in no time at all. Whether it is finding one more Dadda or dealing with the chapter's servers being down. Mikael has engaged in everything from the reception to defending our interests in that group whose name is so long that no one remembers it.
Frej Naimi-Akbar
Frej was something of a hidden figure in the chapter until he was suddenly drawn in as Secretary in the D-directorate. Since then, he has taken on the responsibility as Chairman and carried the standard high during diploma ceremonies, promotions, and the Nobel banquet, and has also frightened the nØllan as Konglig Jesus. For three years, he represented our beloved chapter in the Student Union Council and did an excellent job during that time.
Jon Karlfeldt (Larsson)
Is there anything Jon has not done? He has been Chair of the Study Committee and of the chapter, served in the Student Union Council, engaged in the Spex, been involved in Redaqtionen, taken part in the Reception as evil, evil, good, evil, and finally as Konglig Öfverdrif and surely much, much more. Hard work deserves recognition, and there is no better recognition than an Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2007
Eskil Andréen
Eskil Andréen has been a true asset to the chapter. He has been an active member of Qulturnämnden, Dadda in two receptions, and as Little Brohter helped plan and carry out a reception. In addition to this, Eskil has been Vice Bar Master in DKM and during the past operational year taken on the responsibility as Pub Master. As Pub Master, Eskil has brought life to an operation that had been on low flame for many years, both by opening up the Pub Committee and by initiating continuous party activities. He leaves behind a more open and lively Pub Committee. It is in light of this that he is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Lorica Claesson
Lorica Claesson has not taken the path through chapter engagement that so many others have; through the reception, Qulturnämnden, or DKM. Instead, she has made a significant contribution to the chapter as project leader for DataTjej2007, by far the chapter's largest economic project. Through DataTjej2007, she placed the Computer Science Chapter on the map of Sweden and once again demonstrated with excellence that women belong in technical education. This achievement is well deserving of an Honorary Delta.
Erik Edstam
Erik has, for more than five years, been a stable presence in the life of the Computer Science Chapter, and few have engaged themselves as deeply in the members' study environment and social situation as he has. Behind him lies a long relationship with ESCapo, including responsibility as ´Vice Chief of Halls, and an extended love affair with the reception, where he began as Dadda in 2002 and concluded as Big Brother two years later. He has also, during three of the five years the position has existed, been responsible for study environment matters in the D-directorate, and has now finally taken on the role of Student Safety Representative. Since he came to the chapter, Erik has been a secure and dependable resource for all of us, someone one could always turn to, and he will surely be missed when he graduates. For his long and deep engagement in the chapter, he is well deserving of an Honorary Delta.
Martin Nygren
Martin was for a long time a hidden figure within the chapter, but once he made his entrance onto the stage of engagement, it was with full force. Through his work within the chapter's systems and web environment, he has ensured stability and development in areas that many take for granted but few truly understand. He has consistently taken responsibility where responsibility was needed and contributed with technical expertise that has strengthened the chapter's long-term functionality.
Through persistence and a strong sense of responsibility, Martin has demonstrated that meaningful engagement does not always have to be visible to be invaluable. His efforts have laid groundwork that others have been able to build upon.
For his technical contributions and dedicated engagement in the chapter, Martin Nygren is awarded the Honorary Delta.
Pehr Söderman
Pehr Söderman has for several years been engaged in the chapter in various areas. With roles such as Vice Student Safety Representative, Dadda, and Treasurer within the Reception, he has become known as a decisive and kind-hearted computer scientist. As Auditor, he bravely tackled the somewhat neglected pile of forgotten audits and called across the land and abroad to resolve what seemed impossible to untangle. He will be remembered by the chapter as the auditor who gave reason to the name and as an auditor of stature. With these merits within the chapter, he is a well-deserving bearer of the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2006
Henrik Fräsén
Henrik Henrik has from the very beginning shown a strong engagement for the Computer Science Chapter and has a list of merits few can rival. He began early in IOR and later expanded into the PR group, a group he eventually became head of. Before that, however, he had already served as both Dadda and Chapter Historian. As if this were not enough, in 2005 he assumed both the role of Editor-in-chief for dbuggen and Chair of the Election Committee. After changing Reception branch to Drifveriet in 2004, he finally this year took on the overall responsibility for that operation in the role of Konglig Öfverdrif. Yes, Henrik has held nearly every position of trust in the chapter, it seems, and even where he has not formally held responsibility, he has been present and always contributed with his engagement, his many ideas, and not least his humor. He is truly a worthy recipient of the Honorary Delta.

Motivations for recipients 2004
Martin Edquist
Martin Edquist is a true rock when it comes to getting hard work done. He has taken on the somewhat thankless workload of Treasurer not once but twice, for the entire chapter as well as for its 20-year anniversary. When he was Dadda, he quickly received the heavy responsibility of ensuring that everything that makes sound, gives light, or is otherwise electrical functioned properly. He attempted to escape this in 2003 by moving to Doqumenteriet, but the chapter considered him far too competent to let him off so easily.
Furthermore, Martin has not only taken care of the chapter's assets but also worked to increase them, in the PR group. He has also made chapter members laugh as editor of dbuggen and defended all our honor as bearer of the chapter's proud banner. Yes, Martin's broad as well as deep engagement has truly been meritorious.
Magnus Hult
Magnus Hult is another of those chapter veterans who seem to become involved in everything that crosses his path. He has served in both the PR group and the Information Body, but above all he has made major contributions to the social life of the chapter. He was the first D-directorate board member responsible for social affairs and relations and has been an active and engaged member of the Klubbmästeri for several years, most recently as Barmästare. As festivities chief for the 20-year anniversary, he organized a magnificent celebration, and as Dadda in the autumn Reception he will surely ensure that the nØllan feel well at party after party.
But Magnus can do more than party. He can also have truly good fun, and above all ensure that everyone around him has truly good fun. Few can match the sense of humor Magnus has repeatedly demonstrated, both in spex manuscripts and toward unsuspecting ESCapen hangers. All the joyful moments Magnus has given us truly deserve to be rewarded.
Andreas Mattsson
Andreas Mattsson began his chapter engagement very early. During his four years in the chapter, he has served in the Student Union Council for three and a half of them. For two years, he worked to improve the study environment for computer science students, first as Lill-Sture and then as a fully fledged Student Safety Representative. During the past year, he finally took his place as one of the chapter's highest officers, Vice Chairman. Andreas has also, during three Receptions, been a well-liked and hard-working dadda.
In summary, Andreas has never hesitated to devote all the time and energy the chapter has asked of him. He has always been present and will leave a great void behind when he leaves us next year.
Mark Peldius
Mark Peldius has for several years been deeply engaged in numerous activities central to the Computer Science Chapter: the PR group, the Election Committee, the Information Body, and the D-directorate. On the board, he dutifully and with extraordinarily good results has served in the two most demanding roles, Treasurer and Chairman. Taken together, Mark's long-standing, broad, and engaged work for Konglig Datasektionen makes him a highly merited recipient of the Honorary Delta.
Motivations for recipients 2003
Robert Andersson
Robert Andersson has served meritoriously in several roles within the chapter. He has been Chapter Chairman, Vice Chapter Chairman, and Chair of the Study Committee. In addition, he has been active within several committees and represented the Computer Science Chapter in the Student Union Council for several years. During his years in the chapter, Robert has always found time for the chapter to improve, develop, and profile it in every possible way.
Tommie Gannert
Tommie Gannert has for several years delighted the chapter's members with various antics and general behavior. As a doqumenterist he is associated with STÖN; as an eager ESCapen hanger he has introduced a bit of (skin) color into other ESCapen hangers' lives; and as a dBuggen contributor… well, what can one say? Nothing that should be captured in text, at least. Beyond this, Tommie has been a great resource for many of us chapter-active members. A slightly mischievous smile has always hidden behind the keyboard tie, and in an almost magical way he has always solved whatever problems one asked for help with. The conclusion is that a more deserving recipient of the Honorary Delta would be hard to find.
Motivations for recipients 2002
Magnus Axell
Magnus Axell has, since he began in 1996, been a cheerful and engaged chapter member. During his time in the chapter, he has been a wild, headbanging DKM member, Pub Master who took over DKM's accounting during his year, and handled various thankless tasks such as organizing changeover gasques. He has also been financially responsible in other contexts, such as the Reception 2001 and the Data Conference 2001.
He has also persistently worked for the chapter's external relations, including at the Data Conference in Lund 2000, as Standard Bearer 2000–2001, and at other student festivities around the country. During 1999–2000, he served as Vice Chairman of the chapter and in that role engaged in various union matters on behalf of the chapter.
Magnus has always shown deep engagement in chapter matters and contributed his time and opinions in fair weather and foul, discussing all manner of issues. There are many reasons to award Magnus Axell an Honorary Delta, but the foremost must be this last: that he constantly and still contributes himself and his time to the chapter and its members whenever they need him.
Pontus Axelsson and Jonas Högberg
Pontus Axelsson and Jonas Högberg have delighted us in many ways. At their antics as drifvare, the nØllan have laughed. When they entertained D-Osquarulda in several spex performances, the audience laughed themselves nearly senseless. From deadly guillotines and Nappe's lost hand to reality show producers with mighty mustaches, Jonas and Pax have shown themselves to be computer scientists worthy of the finest eloges. Despite theatrical blood in their veins, we do not remember them for that - no, that would be wrong, we remember their warmth and warm manner. Place the Delta upon them and raise a toast in red; cheer and kiss them thoroughly.
Anna Eriksson
Anna Eriksson has over the years relapsed as Dadda and fallen into life as an ESCapen hanger.
Despite this, Anna has for most been a thoroughly genuine friend who has always stepped up in wet and dry. Mostly wet.
Anna has been seen and heard, for better and for worse, but has always put D-Osquarulda in good spirits. Behind the scenes, she has worked like a wolf so that the rest of us could have as much fun as possible. She even endured a full year as the chapter's secretary. With distinction.
Anna's foremost quality, however, is that she is a genuine Sigvard — bold and loud, BUT ALWAYS with warmth and a twinkle in her eye. Her presence in ESCapen has raised its temperature on many cold winter days. And name the gasque or pub where Anna has not been present.
Anna is a true D-Osqulda, that is, a good friend and everyone's companion. All of ours, an honorary spark.
Josefin Hallberg
Josefin Hallberg is coming soon...
Maria Kruse
Maria Kruse has, since the autumn of 1997, been an immensely active chapter member. She has handled everything from small matters such as administering Quintus Decimas year patches to, as Chair of the Girls' Conference 2000, creating a professional and highly enjoyable gathering for the country's female and the chapter's male computer scientists. She has participated in all of DKM's antics simultaneously while also serving as Vice Royal Chief of Halls, DKM Treasurer for a year, and Secretary for the Study Trip 2001.
Yes, the list of her engagement has proven to grow exponentially with time, nothing more mentioned, but nothing forgotten.
Furthermore, Maria is both a recurring dadda and a recurring drifvare, not to mention everything else she has both returned to and fallen into.
This more-than-meritorious background fades, however, when D-Osquarulda consider Maria's ever-present cheerful smile and deeply kind personality. For many, she has not only been a fellow student, a pleasant party companion, and joyful instigator of antics, but also become a lifelong friend.
Arvid Nilsson
Arvid Nilsson; Despite Arvid's somewhat shy nature, he has always been present in ESCapen. That Arvid one year served as Vice Royal Chief of Halls was an entirely natural choice; ESCapen remains Arvid's second home.
Both veteran computer scientists and brand-new ones, at times even the dreadful nØllan, find themselves at ease in Arvid's company.
Arvid is rewarded first and foremost for his genuine warmth and charm. But one must not forget all the work he has gladly put in for the benefit of us all.
Niklas Persson
Niklas Persson hhas been very active since he arrived at the Computer Science Chapter. He has been both Dadda, PR-chief, and Chair of STUDS.
As a member of the PR group, I have had the pleasure of working under him. He worked hard for the Computer Science Chapter. It was during his time that the PR group was structured, which led to D-Dagen increasing from 13 to 40 companies. A great achievement!
Motivations for recipients 2001

Motivations for recipients 1999
Christer Eliasi-Swahn (Gessler)
Christer Gessler has for three years represented the Computer Science Chapter in the Student Union Council, two years as independent union representative and one year as Chair of the Study Committee (SNO). In the council as well as within the chapter, he has with engagement taken positions and argued in relevant matters. He has also throughout his entire study time participated in ESCapo, one year as Vice Chief of Halls, and has also been part of the Daddery one year.
Patrick Grundler
Patrick Grundler has played a major part in the chapter's now-strong financial standing after many years of work in the PR group, among other things as PR-chief. He is also a chronic recurring Dadda, including a past as Big Brother. And what would a data banquet be without a prelude under Patrick's direction?
He is a multi-Dadda who became Big Brother in his later years, but perhaps best known as the PR man number one of the chapter. Patrick has done an enormous amount for the chapter, by now knows the entire staff at Martin & Servera by first name, but deserves an Honorary Delta most of all for having over the years been a top-class friend. (We thank him for introducing the new unit of measurement Grundler. Now everyone will henceforth know how much one must drink to earn a crate bottom.)
Helena Holmgren
Helena Holmgren is a multiple herder of nØllan and the chapter's first Big Sister. First Chief Donkey in the D-directorate, Chair of Datas Women, and organizer of the chapter's senior activities. Helena has done very much for the chapter, all with a radiantly positive mood. Perhaps something embarrassing should be recorded here for posterity, but we have not found a single such detail. An achievement in itself!
For having, with constant good humor, maintained over the years a great engagement in the chapter, from Chief Donkey via Vice Chair, where she made a strong impact on senior activities, to after four years in the Daddery striking decisively to become the chapter's first Big Sister.
Mikael Stralje
Mikael Stralje has during all three of his years in the daddery been a positive force with full (note the pun) control. As PR-chief he secured the chapter's finances, and he has been an engaged Chairman of the chapter. In short, Mikael has done much for the chapter, yet never refrained from raising a glass for a toast.
Motivations for recipients 1998
Niklas Lindholm
Niklas Lindholm has during his time at Teknis, like very few others, devoted great engagement and an immense workload to the chapter and its members. Despite having contributed significantly to most studentikos and serious activities within the Computer Science Chapter over the past four years, it is not this quantity that forms the primary motivation. Rather, it is that every task he has undertaken has been completed in an extraordinarily good manner. More than with anyone else, one has been able to trust that a begun task would truly be brought to completion.
Martin Hansson
Martin Hansson has been engaged in much of the chapter's operations, among other things as Pub Master. During this time, he devoted both time and soul to legalizing the chapter's black pubs. He successfully argued with the municipality and the environmental authorities and ensured that the Computer Science Chapter, together with the Aerospace Chapter, became the first chapters on campus with a serving permit.
Fredrik Sandberg
Fredrik Sandberg has throughout his entire time at KTH devoted very much time to the Computer Science Chapter. As Prylmånglare, Royal Chief of Halls, Dadda, and Chairman — always in a cheerful and pleasant manner. Fredrik is one of those who truly worked hard to make ESCapen one of campus' most pleasant chapter premises, which it is today.

Tomas Nord has persistently and tirelessly engaged himself in most parts of the chapter. He is a multiple ESCapist, Dadda, and Spex participant. Tomas is also former Chapter Treasurer, PR group member, and travel leader for the Study Trip 1996. All these merits point to the fact that Tomas does not simply do his part and step aside, but instead tirelessly continues his engagement.
Stina Leijonhufvud
Stina Leijonhufvud has since she began in Computer Science engaged herself enormously in the chapter. Among her engagements are Chapter Chairwoman, PR-chief, DKM member, Dadda, Aunt, Standard Bearer, Song Leader, and Chair of the Study Trip. The list could be made long. Stina always carries out her assignments in a responsible and positive manner. She never hesitates to devote her time to the chapter.
Patrik Nilsson
Patrik Nilsson has during his time as Royal Chief od Halls rebuilt our chapter premises. Without Patrik's labor and struggle, ESCapen would not have been what it is today. Patrik has also, as a multiple Dadda, welcomed the nØllan with joy and enthusiasm.

He has also during the year made the PR group function effectively and thereby established contacts between the Computer Science Chapter and industry.
John Berg
John Berg has during his years at KTH done an enormous amount for the chapter. Despite not having been elected to any of the heavier chapter positions, he has still chosen to engage in most parts of the chapter's operations. John has always carried out what he has undertaken in an irreproachable manner. It should also be mentioned that it was John who created our fine songbook.
Björn Sjöstrand
Björn Sjöstrand has worked for the chapter in a way that perhaps has not been very visible outwardly. He has been a member of the editorial staff of dbuggen and has meant enormously much for improving how the Reception functions compared to earlier times. Furthermore, Björn has always reviewed and debated the chapter's operations in a critical and positive manner.
